必要基本的经管类知识可能包括:
1. 4P(Product, Price, Place, Promotion), SWOT(优势(Strengths)、劣势(Weaknesses)、机会(Opportunities)、威胁(Threats)).

4. Porter’s Five Forces (Michael Porter重要战略理论)以及三种战略

在大多数案例中,都有几个不错的基本问题可以提出:
1)What is the product?
2)Who hired us?
3) Has the company faced this issue before? If so, how did it react? What’s the outcome?
4)What have other companies facing this situation done? (benchmark, best practice)
1. Market Sizing/Estimation
这类问题一般都是建立在assumption的基础上,很多同学觉得这类题目很简单,但我却不这么认为,因为有人碰到的这类题目会毫无头绪,不知道怎样做。其实Market Sizing的能力非常基本,是咨询日常工作中的一部分,经常需要对于一个市场的容量做一个估计。事实上,解决这类问题的方法就是怎样breakdown的问题。在breakdown问题的时候,是否做到了MECE(Mutually Exclusive, Collectively Exhaustive)相互独立,完全穷尽。
2.Business Operation
1) 利润改善 Profit Improvement
2) 扩大销售 Expand the sales
3) 降低成本 Reduce the cost
4) 渠道设计 (Sales Team, dealer, channel design)等
这类问题都是公司在运营过程中所碰到的实际问题,碰到这类问题主要还是先考虑公司自身,看看流程(采购,生产,运输,销售,服务等),组织架构是不是出问题,对于价值链进行分析,然后再结合外界的因素,诸如市场,竞争者和顾客。
